A highly experienced corporate / commercial lawyer with a strong understanding of the operational and technology needs of legal teams.

 

I have over nine years of experience working within legal operations and legal technology, focusing on delivering solutions to drive operational efficiency, enhance the quality of legal services and lower the cost of delivery within the legal function.  This has included leading and managing teams to deliver legal managed services, as well as deploying and implementing legal technology solutions and platforms.

 

Prior to this current role, I practised as a corporate / commercial lawyer for twelve years, specialising in transactional and business law as well as commercial contracts.  Having trained and qualified at a regional law firm, I moved to international law firm DLA Piper where I continued advising on a wide variety of transactions, from start-ups and small businesses through to high profile private equity transactions and international mergers and acquisitions.
